Job Summary:
The Area Supervisor is responsible for leading and supervising the cleaning staff at assigned locations, ensuring that all operations are carried out effectively and according to company standards. This role involves conducting quality control inspections, training staff, managing inventory, and interacting with clients to ensure high levels of service satisfaction. The Area Supervisor reports directly to the Account Manager and plays a key role in maintaining service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision of Cleaning Staff:
- Oversee the daily activities of the cleaning staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and in accordance with company protocols.

- Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback to ensure continuous improvement.

- Quality Control:
- Conduct regular inspections of cleaning services to ensure adherence to quality standards.

- Identify and address any deficiencies in service delivery, implementing corrective actions as needed.

- Maintain detailed records of inspections, issues identified, and follow-up actions taken.

- Training and Development:
- Train new and existing staff on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and company policies.

- Provide ongoing training to ensure staff are up to date with the latest industry standards and best practices.

- Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary items are available when needed.

- Communicate regularly with clients to understand their needs and address any concerns or complaints.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the janitorial or facilities management industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and staff.
- Ability to manage inventory and equipment effectively.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and cleaning techniques.
