About the Role:

ServiceMaster Commercial Cleaning of Jackson is looking for a driven and experienced Assistant Manager to join our full-time team in Richland, MS. This is an exciting leadership opportunity to oversee operations, inspire a team, help deliver the exceptional cleaning services, forklift and floor scrubbing operations that our clients rely on every day. Responsibilities:

Manage and work alongside cleaning crew members during scheduled shifts at commercial cleaning sites.
Mange or perform hands on commercial cleaning duties including: vacuuming, mopping, dusting, restroom sanitation, trash disposal, floor scrubbing, and forklift operations.
Ensure that quality control standards are met by inspecting completed work
Train and guide team members on proper cleaning techniques, chemical usage, and safety protocols
Communicate professionally with clients regarding any site-specific needs, concerns, or special requests
Manage cleaning supplies and equipment inventory, reporting shortages or maintenance needs as needed
Ensure team compliance with company policies, safety guidelines, and OSHA standards
Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness, safety, and operational requirements

Requirements:

Required management or supervisory experience
Preferred experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial services, and forklift operations
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality, consistent results
Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings if needed
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs throughout the shit's duration
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead a team and interact with clients
Valid drivers license
Reliable transportation
