Position Opening: Project Services Team - Entry-Level Evening Floor Technician 

 Full-Time | Evening Shift (2nd Shift) | $16–$18/hr | Newport News, VA

We’re seeking a dependable Entry-Level Evening Floor Technician to join our Project Services Team during second shift. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in visible results, values structure, and wants to learn a skilled trade.

No prior floor care experience is required. We provide on-the-job training, hands-on mentorship, and clear pathways for growth into advanced technical and leadership roles.

You’ll work as part of a small mobile crew completing evening floor projects at commercial sites. We provide the van, equipment, uniforms, and training — you bring reliability, curiosity, and pride in quality work.

What You'll Do:
  • Assist with stripping, waxing, buffing, and restoring commercial flooring
  • Clean and maintain hard surface floors (VCT, tile, concrete, etc.)
  • Operate floor care equipment such as auto scrubbers, buffers, and burnishers (training provided)
  • Load/unload equipment and supplies at job sites
  • Follow safety procedures and proper chemical handling guidelines
  • Work as part of a team to complete projects on schedule and to standard 
  • Take pride in delivering consistent, high-quality results

Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
