Job Title: Day Porter
Location: Chicago Heights, IL
Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Day Porter to join our team at a paint factory in Chicago Heights, IL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring a safe, sanitary environment throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of common areas, including break rooms, restrooms, and office spaces.
Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.
Restock and maintain supplies such as paper towels, soap, and other janitorial products.
Sweep, mop, and disinfect floors to maintain a clean and hazard-free workspace.
Address spills and other immediate cleaning needs promptly.
Follow all company safety guidelines and procedures.

Requirements:

Previous experience in janitorial, porter, or custodial work is preferred but not required.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Must be dependable and punctual.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Drug screening is required for all employees working at this location.
