We are currently seeking a full-time, entry-level Commercial Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who has several years of commercial cleaning experience and is ready to set into a leadership role. As a vital member of our organization, you will play a key role in maintaining high-quality cleaning services, ensuring customer satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of our growing business. 
 
Position Summary:
This is a working Supervisor role with responsibilities that include organizing employee shifts, training and motivating team members. This position plays a critical role in ensuring all staff stays on task and completes all assignments safely and to ServiceMaster standards. To be successful in this role, you should be highly motivated and have a good understanding of cleaning principles, team management, have strict adherence to safety standards, available mornings, evenings, and weekends, and have reliable transportation to travel regularly between site locations.

Position Responsibilities:
  1. Site Management: Travel to various job sites, overseeing and managing the day-to-day activities of custodial workers, ensuring adherence to cleaning standards, and stepping in to fill operational gaps when needed.
  2. Supervisory Duties: Assigning shifts and ensuring necessary coverage, providing guidance, and performance feedback to custodial workers, ensure compliance with company policies and OSHA safety regulations.
  3. Inventory Management: Take charge of inventory control, including ordering and replenishing cleaning supplies, and ensuring timely delivery to designated job sites.
  4. Sales Calls: Proactively engage in door-to-door sales calls to potential clients, showcasing our services and identifying opportunities for business growth.
  5. Cleaning Inspections: Perform regular site inspections to ensure the quality and consistency of cleaning services, addressing any client issues promptly.
  6. Training: Conduct training sessions for custodial staff, focusing on best practices, safety protocols, and efficient cleaning techniques.
  7. Employee Interviews: Conduct interviews for potential custodial staff, assessing skills, experience, and cultural fit within the company.
Qualifications
  • Ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time-management skills.
  • Knowledge of cleaning industry standards, safety protocol, and best practices; floor tech and carpet cleaning experience a plus.
  • Professional client face-to-face interaction
  • Flexibility in working hours to accommodate the demands of the business.
  • Must be able to speak English; bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude to fix maintain cleaning equipment desired (not required)
  • Experience using various types of floor equipment (i.e. buffers, stripper, shampooer, etc.)
  • MS Word, Excel
  • Valid driver’s license/transportation required.
Physical Demands and Qualifications:
  • Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reaching
  • Up to 20% sedentary (office work)
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25lbs.

Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per year
